When you load an image into our Cross Stitch Pattern Maker or Photo to Cross Stitch converter, or enter Wi-Fi details into our QR Code Generator, every byte is processed locally within your browser's memory via HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript. We never upload, transmit, store, or inspect your photos, pattern files, or QR text on any external server.

2. Browser LocalStorage Preferences

To save your Night Stitch theme preference and your personal owned-floss checkboxes on the DMC Color Chart without forcing you to register an account, our site uses standard HTML5 localStorage keys (csg_theme and csg_dmc_stash_v1) stored exclusively on your own device. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

3. Analytics & Usability Diagnostics

We partner with Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate, anonymized usability metrics—such as viewport scroll depth and broken button interactions—so we can improve mobile and desktop ergonomics. Microsoft Clarity masks sensitive input fields by default and does not receive your local Canvas image buffers.
