1. Ownership & Commercial Licensing of Your Charts

CrossStitchGrid is a design utility, not a content rights claimant. Any cross-stitch pattern, pixel lettering sampler, or QR chart you draw from scratch or convert from photographs and illustrations to which you hold valid copyright or licensing rights belongs to you. You are free to stitch finished pieces for personal gifts, charity auctions, craft fair booths, or commercial digital chart sales on platforms such as Etsy, Shopify, or Ko-fi. You remain solely responsible for ensuring you own the underlying rights to any source artwork you convert.

2. Embeddable Calculator Widget License

We grant craft bloggers, needlework guilds, teachers, and yarn retailers a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to embed our Aida Fabric Calculator Widget via the provided HTML snippet, provided the small attribution link back to CrossStitchGrid.com remains unmodified and visible.

3. Floss Color & Fabric Sizing Disclaimer

Digital sRGB displays emit transmitted light whereas cotton embroidery floss reflects ambient light. While our CIELAB color lookups, skein yardage formulas, and QR contrast checks are engineered for high accuracy, dye-lot variations and individual stitching tension may affect physical results. Always test-scan QR patterns on screen and verify critical portrait skeins against physical floss cards before cutting heirloom linen. All tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
